Welcome to the home of Australian fine art photography
The Light and Shadow Fine Art Gallery was located in Leura, Blue Mountains, near Sydney, Australia. It exhibited the iconic works of Australia’s most influential photographer, Max Dupain (1911-92), as well as high quality works by contemporary Australian photographers.
The Gallery, having closed its Leura doors in 2019, is now focused as a virtual gallery showcasing the beautiful and evocative monochrome and colour works of established photographers, many of them influenced by Dupain’s legacy. Dupain’s icons are offered here as well.
The Gallery represents a wonderfully talented group of Australian photographers who’s passion for the art form takes them from the natural wonders of Australia, especially the World Heritage Blue Mountains, to overseas destinations. I am proud of being able to exhibit their works and I hope you enjoy their creative offerings.
Warm regards,
